Maintenance

  • Manage and oversee the work of technical teams to ensure a Zero Jobless Rate at any point in time.
  • Maintain the inventory of equipment, tools, materials, and spares.
  • Prepare and execute PPM/RM/CM tasks.
  • Provide management and clients with periodic reports in compliance with the contracts.
  • Monitor the daily allocation of staff to different sites and contracts.
  • Control and monitor the staff transfer, welfare, and safety at the site.
  • Train staff and adopt best practices as per the prevailing market standards.
External Business Development
  • Attend client meetings to understand the project's scope of work, payment terms, etc.
  • Survey, prepare estimates, and proposals for tendering/biddings.
  • Arrange for project mobilization, staffing, and fleets.
  • Manage additional profitable new contracts and variation work from within the existing contracts in line with the agreed targets.
Manpower Recruitment
  • Assist in the selection of employees.
  • Recommend internal promotions and performance appraisals from time to time.
  • Recommend salary bands based on market trends.
Finance and Procurement
  • Conduct periodic analysis of actual expenses incurred on projects and contracts.
  • Track LPOs, invoices, and payables.
  • Define purchasing recommendations that support business goals.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and conditions of sale and warranties of goods and products with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and conditions of contracts with contractors and/or service providers.
  • Direct and manage sourcing strategies from beginning to end.
  • Monitor vendor, service provider, outsourcer, and/or contractor performance to ensure quality of service.
  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communication with clients and customers.
  • Ensure the optimum usage of fleets to avoid idle times.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical/Electrical).
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in Facilities Management in the UAE.
