This position can be located in UAE or KSA In this exciting role you will help shape app strategy and overall app engagement for our customers in the region while improving overall revenue contribution. You will interpret key insight metrics including traffic conversion basket analysis and market intel and work cross functionally with stakeholders to implement app campaigns to improve overall app effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain local app trade and content activation calendar tailored to different customer groups and segments.
- Develop app merchandising strategies per category/brand and execute sales & promotional plans. Support localization by working closely with in-market team and HQ teams.
- Monitor competition and social activity to understand emerging trends, pricing & promotional strategies, and explore ideas & improve setting up promotions in line with the commercial calendar.
- Create clear and detailed briefs for the agency and local marketing team specifying design and copy requirements for app journeys and in-app content. Create and manage key category & landing pages to drive traffic from the app push.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate different campaign elements including creative assets, messaging, and targeting criteria for each segment.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results and apply insights to enhance campaign performance, engagement, and customer conversion rates. Track key performance metrics such as app engagement, campaign ROI, and customer retention. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analyses to inform future app/campaign strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, merchandising, marketing, and analytics teams to enhance the overall app experience.
- Forecast campaign performance and customer behavior based on historical trends and data insights, adjusting strategies proactively to meet KPIs.
- Support campaign budgeting and resource planning to ensure cost-effective execution of merchandising and CRM strategies while meeting ROI targets.
- Role will have dotted line reporting to Director of Marketing Operations and Director of CRM Retention Marketing.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in managing app merchandising. Hands-on experience of using merchandising and CRM tools is mandatory. (Braze, Salesforce)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics and ability to derive insights and recommendations from data.
- Experience building segments, creating content, and deploying app campaigns.
- Excellent communication (Fluent in Arabic & English) and collaboration skills.
- Open to work flexible hours to collaborate with headquarters in Pacific Standard Time.
