This position is responsible for contributing to Facilitywide and departmental quality initiatives. This involves performing the assessment and analysis of operations and processes including overseeing and implementing quality management systems ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and conducting audits. Identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and safety. Qualifications:

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
  3. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies and enhance quality outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and monitor quality metrics, goals, and performance indicators.
  5. Provide training and education to staff on quality improvement methodologies and techniques.
  6. Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, incidents, and complaints ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality management practices to continuously improve the quality of healthcare.
  8. Participate in international accreditation and certification processes ensuring compliance with quality standards and requirements.
  9. Foster a culture of quality and patient safety throughout the organization promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
  10. Collaborate with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies and accrediting agencies to maintain compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  11. Maintain documentation and records related to quality improvement activities.
  12. Participate in quality committees and meetings to provide input and recommendations.
  13. Ensure compliance with all practices within health authority standards and requirements, international accreditation, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  14. Identify, manage, and report incidents to immediate supervisor and to physician as required. Complete appropriate documentation according to organization policy.
  15. Oversee all activities related to International Accreditation (CARF), TASNEEF, ADHICS, and other regulatory audits and inspections.
Additional Information:
  1. Bachelor's degree in any healthcare field.
  2. Trained or Certified CPHQ.
  3. 3-5 years of experience preferably in Homecare in Abu Dhabi.
