Foot Care Nurse (RN/RPN)

Spectrum Health Care is hiring Foot Care Nurses (RN/RPN) in Mississauga. Foot Care Nurses may work in clinic settings, retirement homes, LTC homes, and/or client's private homes on a full-time or part-time basis.At Spectrum Health Care, our mission is re-imagining home care for clients and families to provide products and services they need, whenever care is required, delivered by the most qualified and compassionate staff.By joining Spectrum Health Care, you will be part of one of Canada's Best Managed companies and a committed member of a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals.Job DescriptionThe Foot Care Nurse is responsible for ensuring that the quality of the Foot Care services to clients in the community and facility setting is compliant with legislation and standards of practice.Conduct foot assessments continually and provide foot care treatment.Electronic scheduling and documentation.Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Spectrum Health Care.Continually assess, anticipate, identify, and respond to new and changing needs of clients and communicate available Total Care resources to clients when appropriate.QualificationsCurrently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care certificate is required.Prior experience in foot care is an asset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.Ability to effectively manage time and priorities.Ability to work independently and within a team.Computer knowledge and ability to learn proprietary software.
