By mentoring team members and championing best practices, you will strengthen our overall data capabilities and play a crucial role in Hostplus’s long-term success. The Opportunity As the Senior Data & Reporting Analyst, you’ll lead collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and deliver solutions to meet their data, reporting, and analytics needs. You will drive the development of advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling using machine learning, and support our business transformation initiatives by delivering insights across our digital platforms, such as our website, mobile app, and member portal. In addition, you’ll maintain data models, reports, and dashboards that deliver timely and accurate insights and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. In this role, you’ll also contribute to Hostplus’s strategy by providing data-driven insights, supporting market research, and presenting actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in building our data maturity through continuous improvement initiatives and advocating for data best practices. About You You bring a robust background in SQL-based environments, with advanced competency using tools like SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, and Microsoft Excel. Your expertise in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, coupled with strong DAX skills, allows you to present data clearly and effectively. You also have experience with machine learning using Python and Azure Machine Learning and ideally some exposure to Adobe Analytics or the Adobe Experience Platform. With a strong analytical mindset, you are skilled in handling large, complex datasets and transforming them into actionable insights. You have a collaborative approach, working effectively with stakeholders across various business levels. Ideally, you bring over four years of experience in BI reporting, data, and analytics roles, with experience in the superannuation industry considered highly advantageous. What can we offer you?
