Bg Tech | Field Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Engineer on a contract basis to support our on-site technical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently to resolve issues and ensure project success. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installations, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
• Perform the installation of engineering systems and ensure they are configured for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to keep equipment in excellent working condition.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems swiftly to minimize downtime and maintain project timelines.
• Calibrate engineering equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports, checklists, and maintenance logs.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar technical role, preferably in the specific industry (e.g., telecommunications, construction, IT, etc.).

• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with relevant equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
