Deputy Production Manager (Precast Construction)
The Deputy Production Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing production processes. Key duties include:- Identifying and addressing operational and maintenance issues to prevent delays.
- Designing, updating, and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Optimizing production operations to meet quality and performance standards.
- Maintaining and improving equipment and processes related to efficiency, cycle times, and capacity.
- Assisting the Production Manager in leading supervisors and workers to ensure timely production and delivery of precast components.
- Coordinating with Quality Control, Sub-contractors, technical teams, Material Procurement, and the Mould team for smooth production flow.
- Following up on preventive measures and corrective actions.
- Proficient in interpreting production-related drawings.
- Knowledge of building construction, precast and prefabricated products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or the precast industry.
- Prior experience in precast projects is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work in Ulu Choh, Johor .
