1. Commercial Leadership:
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and implement an effective admissions strategy to increase student enrollment.
- Optimize resource allocation, ensuring efficient staff, technology, and facilities use.
- Ensure the school meets or exceeds revenue and growth targets while maintaining high-quality education.
2. Operational Oversight:
- Manage the school's day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless delivery of the Cambridge curriculum across early years, primary, and secondary levels.
- Lead staff development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider school community.
3. Strategic Development:
- Lead the school's long-term vision and strategic planning, aligned with the goals of the school board.
- Enhance the school's reputation locally and regionally through community outreach and partnerships.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Management, or Business Administration preferred).
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum and its implementation across multiple school levels.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of educational leadership experience, with at least 3 years as a Principal or in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing a school, with demonstrated success in increasing student enrollment and academic achievement.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience overseeing school budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning.
- Experience in implementing admissions strategies and building school-community relations.
- Prior experience working in multicultural or international school environments, with sensitivity to diverse cultural contexts.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and the wider school community.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience driving school improvement initiatives.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of a local language is a plus).
- Ability to navigate complex challenges and maintain high standards in both academic and operational areas of the school.
- Demonstrated capacity for innovation, flexibility, and adaptability in response to the evolving needs of the school.
Relocation:
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Cambodia or Vietnam for the duration of the contract.
- Experience or understanding of working within the regulatory frameworks and educational environments of Southeast Asia is preferred.
