About the role Total Investment Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, including tradespeople, labourers, and subcontractors
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality control measures
- Manage the allocation of resources, including equipment, materials, and labour, to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns
- Identify and resolve any problems or conflicts that arise on the construction site in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project, including timesheets, inventory, and quality control reports
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the construction team
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as scheduling and budgeting applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
