Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineers work directly with equipment and systems, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Field Service Engineers are often required to travel to different sites and locations. The role may involve local or international travel, depending on the scope of the role and the company's reach. Field Service Engineers work closely with the technology they support and gain a deep understanding of its intricacies. This practical experience enhances their technical skills and troubleshooting abilities. In this role, the Service Engineer will provide guidance and support to our distributors in each country in their region in order to reach annual sales targets. Specific responsibilities are listed below:

1. Installing and setting up equipment or systems at customer sites.
2. Analysing and troubleshooting technical issues with equipment or systems.
3. Performing repairs and maintenance tasks to restore equipment functionality.
4. Following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols while carrying out repairs and maintenance activities.
5. Providing technical support to customers, answering queries, providing guidance, and addressing concerns.
6. Documenting equipment repairs, updates, and maintenance tasks performed.
7. Collaborating with internal teams, such as engineering, sales, and customer support, to address customer needs.

Requirements

1. Candidate should possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in a field such as Mechanical, Electronics & Electrical.
2. Required language: English
3. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in service of medical devices, scientific equipment, or relevant markets
4. Required Skill(s): familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
5. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Solid customer service and negotiation skills
7. Ability to work independently
8. Availability to travel as needed
