EIS Engineer
Job details
We are looking for an Event/VC engineer to focus on daily operations in supporting event management and event systems, as well as video conference endpoints for internal VIPs, stakeholders, and employees. The candidate must be highly motivated and independent with strong communication skills to work with employees and other backend support teams to deliver a great experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining conferencing and audio-visual systems, including supporting event systems such as Crestron control systems, switchers, Extron products, Biamp, QSC, and DANTE Audio devices or other DSP, audio-visual mixer, or control system experience.
- Experience with live event support, especially hybrid events.
- Able to understand streaming concepts.
- Able to understand simple system line diagrams or schematics.
- Able to understand basic network structures, especially AV networks.
- Able to troubleshoot system errors independently.
- Experience with video conferencing room system management and troubleshooting (WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Experience with vendor support to resolve issues and replace defective/broken products in a timely manner.
- Strong customer support skills, including VIP and Executive level support.
- Able to understand simple system design concepts and interpret the ideas to customers.
- Able to negotiate and advise customers on event setup matters.
- Experience handling simple system projects and working with other trade colleagues and vendors.
- Enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with a flexible mindset.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT with a minimum of 2 years of system integration experience preferred. · Relevant Audio-Visual certifications from Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, or Sennheiser. · Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team. · Possess good technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. · An ability to follow processes and learn new technologies quickly. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal. · Good to have basic network knowledge. · Good to have SIP phone and Teams phone knowledge. #J-18808-LjbffrApply safely
