Our client is a diversified HKSE listed company, primarily focusing on MLM, education and leisure. In line with their growth plan, they are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Audit Manager to join their HQ in Petaling Jaya. Job Description
- Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments and business needs, ensuring the plan is responsive to and aligned with the risk profile of the organization.
- Assist in preparing and issuing all Internal Audit reports to ensure the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to management.
- Plan and execute audit assignments, including work paper documentation, in accordance with Audit Standards, and conduct ad hoc tasks/special projects as needed for the region.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of the audit plan.
- Assist in addressing control issues on new business processes, policies and procedures, and provide consultative services to the stakeholders.
- Conduct ad hoc audits, investigations, or any special projects as requested by management.
- Manage the process to track, follow up, and ultimately close all open audit issues, leveraging the Audit Committee if necessary.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by business partnering with the relevant departments globally.
- A minimum of 5 years of audit experience, preferably with prior exposure in the MLM industry.
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in finance/accounting (CA, CPA, CIMA, CISA, CIA, and ACCA).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a good command of English and report writing skills.
- Possession of sound independent judgment.
- Basic - RM6,000 - RM8,000
