Procurement & Logistics Officer (Renewable Energy/Technology) (JB4976)Location: Somerset West, Cape TownSalary: R20,000 to R30,000 CTC per monthEmployment Type: PermanentA leading tech company specializing in battery technology, renewable energy, and remote monitoring is looking for a skilled Procurement and Logistics Officer to join their team. This role is essential to ensuring seamless operations by managing sourcing, vendor relationships, inventory, and logistics. You will handle both local and international logistics, manage import/export documentation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business goals.Minimum Requirements:Diploma or degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Familiarity with INCO terms and compliance standards (e.g., PVOC).Knowledge of air and shipping transport logistics is advantageous.Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Understanding of supply chain management principles.Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.Comfortable working in an office environment with occasional field visits to suppliers or meetings.
