Overall Mission: Is responsible and accountable to plan, organize, and ensure that the installation for all projects is carried out with the required finishes and timeframes. Controlling and planning all installations and deliveries. Education: College degree or technical institute certificate preferably in carpentry, woodwork, or related fields. Experience: 5 years minimum experience in installation events, exhibitions, and interior fit-out. Deep knowledge in carpentry, woodwork fabrication, and machinery. Prior experience with production as supervisor in charge of fabrication and installation. Language: Arabic, English, and Urdu is a plus. Report to: Operations Manager A successful Installation Supervisor needs to know how and when to communicate with everyone on the team and the client. Should manage resources efficiently, remain within budget, and ensure delivery on time with client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Installation:
- Liaise with all departments to understand requirements and properly prepare for each installation.
- Prepare logistics tickets.
- Prepare task lists and organize resources.
- Prepare tools and equipment required for each installation.
- Prepare installation checklist and ensure all received and accounted for ahead of each installation.
- Ensure the team is presentable, wearing Bros vests, PPE, and maintaining proper hygiene and manners on any site.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Monitor production to resolve issues and raise any concerns before they happen.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of installation personnel.
- Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.).
- Ensure output meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
- Report to upper management.
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of carpenters, painters, and welders working on each installation.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, deadlines, and coordinate work activities with other departments.
- Ensure every requisition of materials and supplies is accurate and delivered; resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve efficiency.
- Train or arrange for training of workers periodically in carpentry, painting, assembly, and welding.
- Complete knowledge of all machinery operation and capacity within the department, ensuring all machinery is kept clean, maintained properly, and calibrated.
- Prepare schedules and other reports; knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
- Responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, sketches, and shop drawings for the installation of different jobs.
- Coordinate with the technical and operations teams to ensure the smooth flow of projects, properly executed quality, and timely delivery of jobs at the highest expectations.
- Ensure all personnel in this department are aligned with the targets that the company is looking for and have the full support of management to achieve these targets.
- The Installation Supervisor should highlight any missing information in the jobs that might reduce the level of delivery or create issues within the projects.
- Proper installation planning should be carried out to ensure all projects are delivered by the agreed timeframes and locations.
- Deep knowledge of production management and production machinery.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software is a plus.
- Outstanding communication ability, maintaining decorum and proper communication manners.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
