We are looking for a passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our team and work with children in our elementary school. The ideal candidate will create a stimulating and nurturing environment to help young learners develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills.Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the holistic growth of young children.
- Foster a safe and positive classroom environment where each child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents and colleagues as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for all students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education.
- Previous experience working with young children in a school setting, preferably in an elementary setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Teaching experience.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood development and education.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with young children and their parents.
- Proficiency in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Patience and understanding to deal with the needs and behaviours of young children.
- Good organizational skills to manage classroom resources and materials.
- Ability to assess and track students' progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in the foundation stage.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best teaching practices specifically tailored for young children.
