About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our team and work with children in our elementary school. The ideal candidate will create a stimulating and nurturing environment to help young learners develop cognitive, social, and emotional skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the holistic growth of young children.
• Foster a safe and positive classroom environment where each child feels valued and supported.
• Monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents and colleagues as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for all students.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education.
• Previous experience working with young children in a school setting, preferably in an elementary setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years Teaching experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development and education.
• Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with young children and their parents.
• Proficiency in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Patience and understanding to deal with the needs and behaviours of young children.
• Good organizational skills to manage classroom resources and materials.
• Ability to assess and track students' progress and communicate effectively with parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in the foundation stage.
• Knowledge of child development theories and best teaching practices specifically tailored for young children.
