Projects Planning Engineer As a Projects Planning Engineer, you will be part of Hitachi Energy's business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical planning specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring plans to optimize operations and meet organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a knack for problem-solving, as well as full cost responsibility for the project costs specified in the portion of costs. Your Responsibilities

  1. Dispatching personnel according to the personnel planning and supporting the personnel assigned for the duration of the project.
  2. Keeping a to-do list and evaluating and distributing assembly reports and other correspondence.
  3. Ensuring that the construction site is supplied with necessary information, instructions, personnel, and material.
  4. Continuously checking accrued costs through a comparison of budget and actual costs in SAP to identify deviations early on.
  5. Evaluating progress reports and informing project managers and partners on the status of work, progress, and accrued costs.
  6. Inspecting and initialing time sheets and discussing questionable time and expense reports with the superior.
  7. Recording or processing deviation reports in SAP and monitoring adherence to the "Regulations for Assembly and Commissioning Personnel".
  8. Inspecting cash-on-site and bank statements, assigning individual items to accounts.
  9. Performing administrative tasks related to the construction site.
  10. Conducting construction site visits for inspection, problem resolution, and discussions with employees, followed by trip reports.
  11. Handling insurance cases in consultation with the insurer and the responsible project manager.
  12. Requesting commissioning personnel according to current personnel planning from internal or external offices.
  13. Monitoring adherence to accident prevention regulations and valid quality assurance measures.
  14. Advising and supporting employees at the construction site in organizational and technical matters.
  15. Holding discussions with construction site workers during headquarters visits and participating in project meetings.
  16. Reporting unusual occurrences to the direct superior.
Your Background
  1. A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is required.
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
  3. Previous experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.
  4. Capability to use MS Project professionally.
  5. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
