Production Manager

POSITION PURPOSE This individual is responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources to meet customer order fulfillment. Responsible for production planning activities to optimize the manpower & material resources in meeting customers on-time delivery. Dimension This incumbent manages all the production (after the BFS process) aspects of the company. NATURE AND SCOPE A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. B. General Department Overview - responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources in meeting customer order fulfillment. And responsible for production planning activities to optimize manpower & material resources. C. Areas of Responsibility – Manages manpower & packaging material resources to meet customer on time delivery Supervise and evaluate performance of production packing employees Manages production planning activities to optimize resources in meeting customer order fulfillment. Coordinate with other departmental heads in meeting common Company’s objectives Prepare cost and budgets to ensure workflow meets Company’s objectives Organize workflow to meet specifications and Company’s objectives Ensure accurate inventory control in the production shop floor Ensure safe & proper housekeeping in the production shop floor Drive continuous improvement in the production packaging related processes Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, GMP, quality standards and all other regulatory requirements including safety precautions. Reporting to top management on production metrics Undertakes to carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior / management D. Challenges of Position – This position requires knowledge and experience in managing a team of production workers; and in production planning & scheduling activities E. Communication Network – The incumbent requires excellent clear communication skills to work closely with both internal and external customers and to manage a team of production workers. F. Measurement – The incumbent will be measured on: Timely & accurate planning & scheduling of orders On-time customer order fulfillment G.
