Position Title: Accountant/Account Executive, AP Reporting To: Senior Financial Manager Location: Singapore Business Unit: LAI Games Department: Finance & Admin Date: 2025 Position Summary: Reporting to Senior Financial Manager, you will meet the deliverables and ensure the accounts payable function runs smoothly by providing first line support to internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure the efficient and effective running operations through driving process improvements and change. Meeting stakeholders' requirements and performance KPIs will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: Handle Accounts Payable (AP) function Assist on Vendor Management Process high-volume vendor and intercompany invoices Ensure PO & non-PO invoices are duly booked in ERP system, with appropriate supporting documents and approvals Review T&E (travel & entertainment) expense claims, ensuring compliance with group T&E policy Process vendor payments in bank portal and in ERP system to ensure completeness Prepare cashflows forecast to ensure sufficient funds before making payments Prepare AP accruals and identify any unrecorded liabilities Perform month-end close activities & reporting, strictly adhering to closing timeline Prepare Account Payable related accounts reconciliations (e.g., vendor's statement of accounts) Prepare variance analysis - Budget vs Actual (e.g., subscription fee, exhibition cost) Prepare balance schedules, such as AP Aging report reconcile to GL, Advance payment - showing balance PO pending bill/receipts Communicate within Finance Team and all stakeholders (e.g., Supply chain team, requestors, vendors), ensuring all queries and issues are addressed timely Assist on bank related matters, including credit card facilities. Assist on tax and audit related matters, ensuring compliance to local authority and statutory requirements Involve in the improvement of finance processes and controls, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures Perform any other additional duties assigned by immediate supervisor on an ad-hoc basis Required Skills and Experience: Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience Meticulous, with an eye for detail and accuracy Positive attitude and proactive behaviour Independent work capability Good interpersonal skills Good written and spoken English communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines Regional exposure is an added advantage Oracle NetSuite experience is an added advantage Internal / External Relationships: Finance teams in the region Management/Executive team Supply Chain teams in the region Other departments in the region Vendors, Bankers, Auditors and Tax Agent Qualifications / Education: Diploma in accountancy with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience or Preferably Degree in accountancy or Business Administration/Studies with major in Accounting/ACCA The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
