1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Senior Operator Broad Band: M07: Semi-professional Talent Pipeline Layer: Manage Self Operational (MS)2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Ensure continuous, effective and efficient plant/production operations by controlling or operating chemical processes, systems and/or machines, with strict adherence to safety and operational regulations, rules and procedures. 3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Qualification:

  1. High school certificate
  2. Maths and Science is desirable
  3. Formal Production/Process qualification preferred (e.g. National Diploma)
Experience: 3 Years relevant experience Skills:
  1. Acute safety awareness and attitude
  2. Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. General understanding of the value chain
  4. Sound knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  5. Proficient knowledge of chemical composition, structure, properties of substances, and chemical processes
  6. Sound knowledge of machines, tools, and equipment, including designs, uses, repair, and first line maintenance
  7. Advanced knowledge of policies, rules, processes, and procedures
  8. Competent in using applicable industrial control software and/or systems
  9. Highly competent in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions
  10. Advanced understanding of specific section's processes and procedures
  11. Advanced knowledge of Ma'aden's safety codes, regulations, rules, and procedures
  12. Controlling operations of equipment and/or systems
  13. Critical thinking
  14. Sound time management and organizing skills
  15. Up-to-date compliance training
  16. Ability to follow instructions and rules
  17. Full physical mobility, including ability to work at heights or confined spaces
  18. Effective verbal and written communication
  19. Sound knowledge of mathematical principles
  20. Teamwork
  21. Ability to handle pressure and setbacks
  22. Qualified first-aid provider
