Job details
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the appropriate documentation relating to patient identification is available and submitted and that Consents to Treatment forms are completed and signed.
- Elicit information from patients and their relatives in a courteous manner, providing guidance and assistance as appropriate.
- Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and instill the need for confidentiality in subordinates.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with KAAUH regulations and guidelines.
- Schedule patients’ appointments for treatment in Outpatient Clinics using the computerized system and activate patient’s visit in HIS.
- Perform duties in relation to the Patient Information Centre by providing advice, guidance, and direction to patients and relatives; dealing with telephone enquiries concerning patient location, admission scheduling, and waiting list status in compliance with rules on confidentiality.
- Maintain Inpatient Computer System in a timely manner by inputting patient data and checking daily census reports.
- Ensure through actions, either directly or indirectly, that superior quality of medical treatment, compassion, and understanding is given to every patient served at the Hospital.
- Respect patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
- Participate in and support quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Two and a half years Diploma in Healthcare Administration or Health Administration or Hospital Administration or a related field.
- SCHS Registration/License.
- 2 Years of Experience.
- Three years Diploma in Healthcare Administration or Health Administration or Hospital Administration or a related field.
- SCHS Registration/License.
- No Experience Required.
