Key job responsibilities: Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst to support our Global Real Estate and Facilities team for the INDIA region. The role is primarily responsible for financial analysis and reporting, supporting monthly financial close activities, preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting processes, and controllership. Partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to the organization. The Financial Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad-hoc projects, business analysis, and financial modeling as needed.
  1. Review and consolidation of Accrual ageing and publishing.
  2. Creation of month end commentary and convert it to the SQL review file for WD3 and prep for review call.
  3. Review and reporting of NDC collection & reconciliation once in a quarter.
  4. HYD13 Owned Campus Property Area Management PO creation/ Amendment review.
  5. GSTR-1 GSTR Vendor Communication and TDS query resolution co-ordination with tax team.
  6. Retention Invoice analysis and payment updates.
  7. Reserve ledger recon check and amortization postings in month end and co-ordination with FOAA team for AMC invoices.
  8. Address and guide on adhoc financial inquiries or issues from team members & stakeholders.
  9. Closely work and monitor Annual/adhoc PO creation progress based on the budget estimates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills - Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting - Bachelor in Commerce Graduation, or equivalent with 8+ or more years of experience / Post graduation experience equivalent with 5+ years in FP&A, closing of Books of accounts and reporting & analytics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL - Experience in managing, evaluating, analyzing data quickly and creating meaningful business reporting. - Good financial acumen with problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Good in managing competing priorities and meet deadlines. - Good interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills. - Advanced proficiency in Excel.
