Senior O&M Systems Infrastructure Engineer - Backup & Restore

A Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's infrastructure, providing expert-level technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing innovative solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Align with Business Goals
- Familiarize with the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with other departments.
- Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Forecast future network needs and plan for capacity expansion.
- Design and implement new infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and operating systems with required applications.
- Plan and execute infrastructure and operating systems upgrades and migrations.
- Ensure that infrastructure solutions align with organizational goals and requirements.
- Manage and maintain operating systems server, storage, and applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Provide technical support to end-users for infrastructure-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Document and share knowledge with the support team.
- Experienced in installing, managing, and maintaining Server Infrastructure and Cloud Platform & Infrastructure.
- Infrastructure support often requires 24/7 coverage, so shift work may be necessary.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Being on call to respond to urgent infrastructure issues outside of regular working hours may be required.
- Anticipate future needs and develop a roadmap for modernization.
- Prioritize activities.
- Monitor and respond promptly to incidents.
- Optimize Performance.
- Track metrics.
- Fine-tuning.
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies.
- Understanding Level Designs.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on solution configurations and operational procedures.
- Prepare reports on incidents, system performance, and solution effectiveness with a Root cause analysis.
