The Team Our client is a leading provider of technology services and solutions in Qatar, delivering innovative Information Technology solutions to enable government and businesses to serve their customers effectively. We are searching for a Marketing Communications Specialist dedicated to help our client in growth, customer retention and strengthening of reputation and appeal both within Qatar and in the broader regional market, in alignment with Qatar 2030 vision. Job Summary: The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services in the Qatari market. This role requires a strong understanding of the local market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Create engaging and informative content for various channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, brochures, and press releases.
  • Manage social media presence, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers in Qatar.
  • Plan and execute marketing events and campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing reports and insights to management.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices, particularly in the Qatari market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and product development, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of campaigns.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years proven experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role, ideally in Qatar or the GCC region.
  • Marketing / PR agency background - Essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms.
  • Experience in content creation, including writing, editing, and graphic design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM software is a plus.
Additional Considerations:
  • Familiarity with Qatari culture and customs is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the specific industry of the company is a plus.
  • A strong network of contacts in Qatar would be beneficial.
