Electrical Engineer

Description
Assist in co-ordination and monitoring with site construction team for installation, testing, and commissioning works.Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures and guidelines to design and install products and services that are required by the organisation.
- Assist in reviews/implements project/job specification.
- Assist in designing and updating of instrumentation system layouts, loop diagrams, instrument cable schedules, data sheets, instrument index sheets, I/O lists, installation drawings, etc.
- Assist in drafting engineering documents for government submission and for construction.
- Carries out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations/analysis as per project requirements.
- Prepares and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interface check, and design changes.
- Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works.
- Provides technical assistance to the construction team.
- Attend site check/verification.
- Adheres to drawing checking procedure.
- Performs metering/control valves/relief valves sizing.
Requirements
- Degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience drafting and design of plants and systems for projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical Industries.
- Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards in the related field.
- Computer literate with good hands-on experience on applications such as CAD drafting, SP Instrumentation, Microsoft Office, and design software like SP Instrumentation.
