We are looking for a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans, procedures, policies, and programs are implemented for the SIDEM employees assigned to the various projects in the area: Recruitment and onboarding
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process (job posting, resume screening, sourcing candidates, and interview coordination)
- Assist with visa processes and work permits for foreign staff
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process according to Group standards
- Participate in University Job Fairs in the region
- Update organization charts
- Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement calculations, and other perks
- Conduct benefits enrollment sessions and answer employee questions regarding benefits
- Assist in implementing and maintaining performance evaluation systems
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, including the new labor law implemented in 2022, and Group policies
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies in accordance with local regulations and company standards
- Identify training needs and assist in developing materials relevant to the local context
- Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees
- Maintain accurate employee records in the Group HRIS
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed by the Group
- Assist in salary surveys and compensation benchmarks in the GCC
- Support the annual salary review process
- Support the deployment of the employee shareholding plan in the region (SEQUOIA)
- Support the deployment of Group initiatives and/or programs
- Master's degree in HR or Administration
- 2-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
- Previous experience in a multinational company is a plus
- Strong international focus and cross-cultural awareness
- Excellent command of English is a must; Arabic is a plus, as is French for interface with Corporate HQ
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Autonomous, results-driven, time-efficient, responsive, and hard worker with the ability to prioritize and cope with important workloads; maximum flexibility and availability due to the multitask nature of work
- Ability to relate effectively with all levels of the hierarchy
- Team spirit
- Computer literacy in Google Workspace
