  • Floating RFQ following up and evaluation of different offers as per project requirement.
  • Reviews orders, creates PO, and manages approval process.
  • Order releasing to vendors, delivery follow-ups, material receipt, and dispatch to various customers/projects.
  • Tools and Equipment management.
  • Managing Shipping and Logistics operations.
  • Maintaining various records and weekly forecast/log sheets for internal customer and management review and regular updates.
  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  • Keeping detailed records of transactions for an easily accessible database of what has been purchased, including contact information and particulars regarding costs and deliveries. Also, making notes in files about specific suppliers, such as those that are good at fulfilling rush orders and those that have previously made errors in their shipments.
  • Getting a good price for items in the desired quantity, delivered in a satisfactory time frame. Also discussing needs with vendors to work out appropriate arrangements.
  • Inspecting the quality of the shipments received. In case of problems, contacting the sender to inquire about the delay or to fix the order to bring it up to par with expectations. Also, keeping track of stock on hand to make requests to replenish when inventory is low.
  • Collaborating with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Customer.
  • Ensuring smooth flow of logistic activities by identifying potential weaknesses/obstacles.
  • Tracking order acknowledgment, preparing and communicating shortage and backlog reports, and providing visibility of potential interruptions to customers.
  • Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations until products or services are delivered to the Customer.
  • Clearing shipments and availing duty exemption FANR TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & Gas Companies.
  • Working with team members and the Procurement & Logistics Manager to complete duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management / Engineering or a Related Field.
