Responsibilities:Foresee project opportunities and issues, adjusting strategies to embrace or mitigate them, influencing and negotiating with clients and suppliers regularly.Maintain bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of projects.Pursue, capture, and manage all phases of medium and/or complex projects.Lead Project and/or Discipline Managers to achieve project objectives.Manage Lump Sum Turnkey EPC/EPCI and Shutdowns Projects ranging from $20m to $800m.Oversee all matters pertaining to project execution in accordance with contracts, HSE, project security, quality, schedule, and financial goals.Accountable to Operations Manager and the client for team performance.Front newly awarded projects until a permanent Project Manager is assigned.Develop project deliverables for all stakeholders/departments.Direct the Project Team within policy bounds and engage Senior Management for project issue resolution.Manage preparation of proposals in coordination with the Commercial team during the Precontract phase.Oversee estimate preparation, documentation, bid, project execution strategy, and lead Risk and Opportunity management during the Proposal phase.Act as the principal representative for Detailed Design execution in accordance with contracts, HSE, quality, schedule, and financial goals.Develop and maintain the Detailed Design Win-it strategy.Manage and execute all project phases, providing strategic leadership.Represent the company to clients, ensuring client satisfaction and project performance (technical, schedule, costs, quality, and safety).Ensure compliance with BMS policies and legal requirements.Deliver projects at as-sold Good Practices GP (or better) and manage project risks and opportunities.Establish a high-performance safety culture.Aid the bid team from a project management perspective on submissions and lead technical & commercial bid efforts with the Proposal & Estimating department.Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and HSE Management System.Develop, approve, and implement Project Execution Plans with the project manager.Review planning and resource allocation for projects with OM.Define roles, responsibilities, and authorities for reporting.Delegate authority and responsibility effectively.Administer Main Contract and Subcontracts via Interface Manager, including agreement on variations in the scope of work.Establish and maintain relationships with Clients and Subcontractors.Prepare resolutions for issues or conflicts between departments and present for review with OM.Monitor and manage project risk profiles with relevant departments and present for review with OM.Ensure compliance with contracts in all aspects.Prepare issue reports for review before submission to the Client.Support project managers in liaising with the Client and key subcontractors.Attend project meetings with the Client and subcontractors as needed.Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required documentation under the contract.Ensure project managers monitor performance related to QA and HSE policies and practices.Ensure compliance with personnel training requirements to meet project timeframes.Administer contracts to protect contractual rights and maximize opportunities, including negotiation of scope variations.Incorporate change management and maintain a live MoC register.Utilize a robust decision-making process that is recorded.Oversee contingency planning and lessons learned for Engineering, Fabrication, Construction, and Installation scope.Perform closeout activities and submit documents as required by the contract and Closeout Procedure.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering.Ability to develop Projects Execution strategy, Profit Plan, and objectives aligned with business strategy.Technical competency in project subject matter to manage implications of technical challenges.Capacity to maintain knowledge of projects for overall accountability and corrective action implementation.Data analytics focus for tracking and trending Project Performances.Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to assist Project Managers.Ability to provide recommendations for policy and procedure development for continuous improvement.Understanding of the link between Projects and corporate needs.Champion adherence to Processes, Procedures, and tools for Projects.Ability to strategize and foresee potential issues.Knowledge of work planning, schedule, cost controls, risk management, progress measurement, and forecasting.Digital transformation focus to support projects with innovative digital solutions.Understanding of EPC/EPIC and Shutdowns contracts and strategies.Ability to empower and empathize with team members.15+ years relevant Oil & Gas experience (Min. 5 years as a Senior PM) and 10+ years as PM in the Oil & Gas industry.Post Graduate Management qualifications are an advantage.
