MANAGER, INSPECTION & C/MPrimary Purpose of JobProposes, plans, directs, guides, and controls all corrosion and prevention, protective painting, inspection and testing, and plant/pipeline welding work covering all pressure containing process plant, equipment, and pipelines in hydrocarbon service in the Mesaieed Operations and Eastern Sector up to Station B. Ensures that effective inspection of all the aforementioned facilities enables plant and equipment performance to meet specification, in a safe, cost effective and reliable manner. Manages fitness for purpose evaluations on components suffering corrosion or metallurgical deterioration. Ensures that all corrosion mitigation measures are consistently applied in accordance with accepted practices and standards.EducationB.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus additional courses in such areas as non-destructive testing on corrosion, leading up to a formal qualification in any of these fields. Fluency in English.Experience & SkillsMinimum 15 years related experience in chemical/petrochemical installations including experience of onshore operations. Should have at least 5 years experience in supervising inspection and/or corrosion specialists groups.
