About the Role: As our Account Manager, you’ll work from our offices based in Milngavie. This is a permanent position and you will develop in the role by covering maternity leave for an account manager and at the same time work closely with our Technical Sales Manager to build and nurture your own relationships with customers and establish your own business portfolio. You will play a key role in driving growth by managing day-to-day sales activities, continuously improving processes, and identifying new business opportunities. This role offers tremendous variety and the chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
- Proactively contact existing accounts to quote, win business, and explore further opportunities.
- Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries promptly.
- Utilise our CRM system and other resources to identify new sales leads.
- Make outbound calls to potential customers to establish new business.
- Log all activity in our CRM system for transparency and tracking.
- Deliver high-quality service to increase business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Prospect for new customers and explore potential new markets.
- Leverage your initiative and problem-solving skills to enhance customer service.
- Integrate seamlessly with the existing team and contribute positively to our collaborative culture.
- Stay informed about market changes and their impact on customers and the supply chain.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of our product offerings.
