Project Consultant - Marine Operations

We are seeking a Project Consultant with a strong background in project planning and execution across the entire product implementation lifecycle. The position is responsible for providing project consultation in areas related to technical and business solutions to meet customer requirements during the project delivery cycle and post-implementation support. • Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering/Nautical or other relevant education
• 3-4 years of sea time/experience with the last sailing as 3rd engineer/ technical superintendent or in a similar experience.
• PMS, dry-docking, safety, operations fleet management software experience
• 1 - 2 years’ proven customer management relationship skills in the customer service and support field
• Experience in managing and rolling out operating systems within maritime operations is an advantage.
• Strong appreciation of effective Business Processes Management using software solutions in maritime operations
• Practical and/or technical knowledge of maritime software is an added advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server an added advantage.
• Software development is not a mandatory responsibility of this position, however, programming experience in .NET or Visual Basic 6 or Gupta SQLWindows/Centura would be an advantage
• Candidates must be based in Hamburg and willing to work in a remote setting.
