Enterprise Solutions Engineer, Sydney Location: Sydney, Australia Salary: AUD 100,000 - 125,000 Verkada is a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, offering six product lines — video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace and intercoms — integrated with a single cloud-based software platform. We are seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer in Sydney with expertise in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control. This individual will partner directly with territory account executives to expand the Verkada footprint into Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers/partners throughout the sales process, overcoming technical objections, assisting customers in designing deployments with Verkada Products, and providing technical assistance to territory account reps. The ideal candidate will be motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently while delivering impactful results remotely. Responsibilities
- Technical Leader: Be the subject matter authority on the full Verkada suite of products and articulate the value-added benefits to customers throughout the sales process.
- Objection Handler: Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
- Evangelist: Present the Verkada solution to all levels of customers, from C-level executives to loss prevention managers and directors of IT. Educate partners, customers, and internal employees on the latest Verkada product offerings.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 40% travel may be required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a proven track record with Fortune 500 companies.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills to articulate technical matters clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or security field from an accredited university.
- Strong background in Networking: VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP, and Firewalls.
- Bonus:
- Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, CSP.
- Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus.
