- Inspect swimming pools and their fences and existing buildings to ensure compliance with building requirements and regulations.
- Assess approved plans and development permits.
- Respond to complaints and conduct investigations to identify and resolve building requirement violations.
- Issue notices and orders to rectify building non-compliances and safety issues.
- Advise builders, developers, and property owners on building regulations and standards.
- Are team players who positively contribute and embrace change.
- Are highly motivated and proactive problem solvers who can manage their time effectively.
- Are self-starters eager to learn about building codes and standards with a high attention to detail.
- Have good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate, understand, and follow instructions in a high-risk environment.
- Have successfully completed Year 12.
