Commercial Manager - NEC / JCT / FIDIC Location: Flexible (Hybrid options available) Industry: Renewable Energy Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + 10% Bonus + Package A leading player in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive the success of their strategic projects. With a focus on creating bespoke contracts within the NEC , JCT , or FIDIC frameworks, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from the Energy , Oil & Gas , or Construction industries to manage and optimise commercial operations across major initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects that will shape the future of the renewable energy landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation and negotiation of contracts, managing risks, and ensuring commercial terms are robust and aligned with the organisation’s goals. Commercial Manager, Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation, negotiation, and administration of bespoke NEC, JCT, or FIDIC contracts.
- Provide commercial insight and strategic guidance throughout the lifecycle of major projects.
- Manage contract risks, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions as well as external partners to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Monitor and track project financials, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Proven experience in creating and managing bespoke NEC, JCT, or FIDIC contracts within the Energy , Oil & Gas , or Construction sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage risk, costs, and contracts effectively.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- MUST HAVE EXISTING RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.
