- Collaborate with an R&D team to advance innovative closure solutions, including digital, sensing, and automation projects.
- Manage remote sensing, automation, and digital twin development projects, aiming to drive safer, more efficient, and cost-effective approaches for environmental management.
- Lead and coordinate project stages from concept through MVP validation for multiple programs within the Closure R&D portfolio.
- Shape, scope, and manage studies and trials, creating business cases and budget plans.
- Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) to oversee schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external technology partners, and R&D providers to deliver on objectives.
- Deliver structured project documentation, scope definitions, and regular reports on project progress.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Strong communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering (e.g. systems, robotics, automation, computer science, etc.)
- Capacity to handle portfolios of various projects in different stages and subjects.
- Demonstrated experience influencing key stakeholders in a large, cross-functional environment.
- Robust commercial and contractual acumen for the establishment of R&D and intellectual property/technology commercialisation partnerships.
- Capacity for divergent thinking combined with an entrepreneurial and venture investment mindset.
- Agile and/or PMP certifications
- Experience in scoping and leading the execution of integrated digital and automation development programs covering detection/data capture.
