Business Development Executive - Trucks & Machinery Location: Dubbo Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Department: Industrial - State Sales - Regional NSW/ACT WHY WORK FOR PICKLES • Highly successful Australian business • Work flexibly and remotely – phone, laptop, car or car allowance provided • Earn 100K+ package (OTE) in your first year • Training, development and national opportunities for progression ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a driven and customer focused Business Development Executive to join our Dubbo team where you’ll be responsible for your own territory in the Dubbo, 2830 region. If you have experience with construction or earthmoving equipment and machinery and are looking for a pathway into a sales career - this could be the opportunity for you! In this role you will be driving sales growth by building and maintaining long-term business relationships with small-medium size businesses who are looking to sell or auction their transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment or machinery through Pickles. In addition to this you will see yourself:

• Develop new business opportunities for Pickles and maintain existing relationships
• Drive new business through cold calling, and following up on leads from existing clients to source trucks, machinery and other stock for sale or auction
• Conduct effective face-to-face and/or online meetings with our clients to sell the right solutions
• Conduct inspections and/or valuations of trucks and machinery
• Work within the branch and the wider team on inspection and sale days

• Knowledge of transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment
• Proven experience in sales and new business development (desired, not essential)
• Ability to use a CRM system to identify existing and new opportunities
• Outstanding customer service, time management and solutions focused skills
• High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently – you will be working closely with other departments to ensure assets are prepared for auction as well as working your region to source assets
