Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia As a Software Logistics Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing logistics solutions in automated and non-automated distribution centres. You will be responsible for working with our clients to provide efficient, effective, and safe warehouse solutions that utilise the latest technology. Your expertise in intralogistics software solutions and operations will enable us to deliver customer-centric, scalable, and impactful solutions to our clients. This role includes but is not limited to the following:
TASKS
- Support of sales team during scoping phase
- Definition of warehouse processes with customer
- Analysing customers' business requirement documentation
- Creation of functional design documents and scoping statements
- Creation of design documents including interface design documents
- Assessment of work packages (tasks)
- Quantitative analysis
- Support of project management in relation to technical details
- Ability to scope testing including creation of test plans
- Ability to create training materials and operational procedures
- Optimisation of customer warehouse solutions
- Feedback loop to product management
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain or Engineering.
- Proven experience in software consulting and integration, preferably in warehouse management systems (WMS), or related software e.g. ERP, WCS or Manufacturing
- Proven experience in consulting or leadership roles in supply chain, minimum 5 years
- Experience in software development lifecycle, including testing
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse automation is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.
- Experience in process re-engineering, lean six sigma or business transformations is desirable
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Moderate level of travel is required within Southeast Asia; other international clients are supported remotely.SENIORITY LEVEL
