- Senior Business Analyst will join the investment banking team at Evalueserve, supporting bankers in several critical research areas such as follows:
- Working on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening, newsletter preparation
- Prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers’ outlook, share price performance, evolution of industry/peers valuation multiples, possible buyer/seller opportunities
- Responsibilities includes training and guiding junior and new analysts, maintaining efficiency, working independently on complex projects, delivering error free projects and client communications
- Allocating projects to team members depending on their industry expertise and skills, resolving their project related queries and performing quality check on client deliverables
- Creating and maintaining databases
- Conduct on-the-job and off-the-job training sessions of new joiners and team members
- Strong Accounting and financial skills
- Good MS Office Skills
- Investment Banking Experience in FIG sector (NBFC, Finance, Banking, Insurance etc).
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills
- Knowledge of database tools – Factset, Thomsonone, Capital IQ, Factiva, and bloomberg
- Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firms goals & mission
- Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working
