Primary Function: This position will be primarily responsible for providing clinical, sales, educational and technical support in response to field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, and patients involving EP products. Performs work that involves a high degree of independence. Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost-efficient, and best business practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness. Exercises independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work; monitors performance and reports status to manager. Major Responsibilities: Acts as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business. Provides formal in-service/education to Electro-Physiologists. Provides expert clinical consultation on the use of our system to the Electro-Physiologists and lab support staff. Coordinates all necessary logistics related to hospital training for new accounts. Initiates, develops, expands, and maintains excellent customer rapport and relationships. Exhibits sound business sense and logic when utilizing the assigned expense budget. Demonstrates the ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and shares product expertise accordingly. Provides sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries on an as-needed basis. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of product and technical knowledge, including Ensite cardiac 3D mapping and ablation techniques. Demonstrates the ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools. Develops, leads, and/or facilitates trainings and other programs on EP products to healthcare professionals. Remains current on developments in fields of expertise, regulatory requirements, and maintains a good working knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives as well as industry trends. Resolves and/or facilitates resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence. Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned. Participates in on-site procedure observation to ensure new product evaluation is successful, utilization is encouraged, customer and personal technical knowledge is enhanced, and customer rapport is developed. Provides timely and comprehensive market information to management as requested. Other Responsibilities: Handles and processes customer complaints in a timely manner and according to Abbott policy and requirements. Executes job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott. Ensures applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott are executed. Performs other related functions and responsibilities assigned by supervisor. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering/Nursing or related disciplines. Minimum of 2 years clinical support or clinical sales experience, preferably within the medical devices industry. Willingness to travel across Singapore and work overtime to support urgent cases. Ability to pick up technical product information and maintain good product knowledge. Able and willing to become certified on EP products. Proven ability to achieve monthly sales activities with accounts and support clinical cases. Strong communication skills. Agile and adaptable, with strong teamwork and organizational skills.
