Systems Engineer
Job details
Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Ensure the health, availability, and security of server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers. Oversee IT asset management, maintaining accurate server inventory and CMDB. Provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting server, application, and network issues. Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for reliability and efficiency. Implement security measures, including antivirus and patch management, ensuring compliance with policies. Maintain server redundancy, data availability, and service continuity for business operations. Document configurations and incidents, and generate system health reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage outsourced vendor deliverables. Provide limited Level 1 support. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field. 5+ years of system/server administration experience. Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and familiarity with Azure or AWS. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional) preferred. Work Schedule: Includes on-call rotations and occasional weekend support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
