German-Speaking Content Moderators – Social Media Location: Office-Based in Lisbon, Portugal Job Type: Full-Time Compensation Options: Option 1: Gross salary of €1,079/month with free accommodation (own room in a shared house/apartment; includes allowances in the Lisbon area). Option 2: Gross salary of €1,360/month (no accommodation provided; includes allowances andbonuses). About the Role: Join the team supporting one of the world's leading platforms for short videos on smartphones. This role involves maintaining ethical and legal standards for online content while fostering a safe and inclusive digital space. Key Responsibilities: Content Moderation: Review German-language content on the video app, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines. Content Management: Remove and block inappropriate content. Filter, sort, and evaluate information based on ethical and legal standards. Cybercrime Prevention: Identify and manage content that may involve cybercrimes, including but not limited to: Criminal activities, torture, violence, hate speech, cyberbullying, terrorism, and animal cruelty. Policy Enforcement: Ensure content adheres to ethical and legal specifications, contributing to a safer digital community. Additional Information: Any additional costs related to training or accommodation are fully covered by the employer. Working Hours: The project requires 24/7 availability, including rotational weekend shifts. Work schedule: 160 hours per month.
