Mechanical Building Services Engineer (Energy Analysis)

We’re looking to build a team of engineers to utilize our in-house dynamic simulation software on complex building projects across the globe, including some of the world’s largest data centers. Missions- Undertake energy modelling for complex buildings relating to:
- Data centers, airports, logistics & commercial.
- EN 50600-4 or ISO/IEC 30134 metrics
- ASHRAE 90.4 Assessments
- Building systems energy assessments
- Assessments of weather data used for studies
- Issuing of RFIs, reports, calculations, technical reports, presentations, method statements and action lists.
- Assisting with EN 50600 & ASHRAE 90.4 related resource estimation and co-ordination.
- General knowledge of the built environment
- Good knowledge on mechanical & electrical service systems in building services
- Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
- Data center experience (desirable)
- Dynamic energy modelling skills to model load dominated buildings, HVAC systems and model outputs
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to extract data from relevant technical documents.
- Able to write technical reports.
- Good knowledge of working online remotely from home using Zoom/Teams/Google Docs
- Accuracy/excellent attention to detail
- Act in a sustainable manner and follow the principles of the Sustainability guidelines of RED
- Act in an ethical manner and follow the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guidelines of RED
