Position : Continuous Improvement Manager @ Hyderabad Location Reporting to : Director - Operations Main Purpose : As a Continuous improvement manager, you will have the responsibility for progress of the continuous improvement transformation at SUPERGAS. Key Tasks & Responsibilities : 1. Support SUPERGAS in implementing a sustainable continuous improvement culture

  • Further develop the E2E performance driven culture that enables SUPERGAS ambitions through increased efficiency, productivity, safety and quality from the bottom-up
  • Work directly with BU Management team and local stakeholders to achieve buy-in for CI program and guarantee sustainable execution
  • Initiate though extrinsic motivation while transforming to intrinsic motivation of stakeholders
  • Communicates the leadership team’s CI vision to all stakeholders at the BU
  • Incorporate CI into the agenda of all external BU visits
2. Embed CI Capabilities, Coach and Connect
  • Built and drive adoption of the Digital & Transformation academy to train individuals and teams on the 5 capabilities of the ‘CI Infinite Loop’: Performance Control, Target & Results, Improve, Standardization and Leadership
  • Be the example for CI Leadership, create awareness of Leadership opportunities and coach appropriately
  • Organize conferences and webinars to share progress and get more colleagues involved
3. Develop people and the organization
  • Train and develop individuals and teams on the appropriate methods and tools
  • Contribute to the design of a path for individuals and teams to better equip themselves to drive their improvement efforts themselves
  • Co-create SHV energy library with standard templates and directions to drive common language

4. Performance Control & Communicate Progress
  • Further develop the Operational Performance Control System of the CI program
  • Develop a Performance Control System within other relevant functions
  • Develop a communication & recognition program to create awareness and motivate colleagues
5. Develop strong local cross-functional relations 
  • Establishing trust and understanding to drive continuous improvements
  • Further promote and strengthen the cross-collaboration, identifying best practices and improvement plans across different topics and BU’s
Qualification & Skills 
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Administration, or technical discipline
  • +7 years of experience with Continuous Improvement in operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing E2E continuous improvement plans into actionable initiatives & driving sustainable culture change (translating theory into practical impact)
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to lead change, influence people and communicate at different levels of the Organization
  • Proven experience in process improvement with Continuous Improvement methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, bringing both financial and non-financial results
  • Ability to coach and develop teams to improve ability to expose and solve problems in a sustainable way
  • Knowledge on Continuous Improvement methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM or Kaizen.
