Key Responsibilities Do a thorough count/check of all related drugs/equipment upon arrival and before leaving workplace with another staff nurse. Upon patient’s arrival in the operating theatre, perform pre-operative assessment thoroughly. Ensure AU consumables and equipment are available prior to surgery. Prepare CD drugs, consumables and equipment according to anaesthetist’s request. Assist anaesthetist pre, intra, and post operatively. Perform a systematic and continuous assessment of patient’s condition in the immediate post-anaesthesia period. Ensure patient’s safety including skin condition pre, intra, and post operatively. Keep accurate records for each patient of all communication and clinical activity relevant to his/her treatment, in line with MOH regulations. Help with the production of written information to meet the changing expectations of the needs of the couples/patients. Assist with the collation of all data resulting from the procedures and transcribe such information into the patient notes to satisfy MOH regulations. In conjunction with senior nursing staff, be responsible for the patient’s treatment and journey at MVFS as well as liaising with the attending clinicians for the care of the patients. Explain the individualised treatment including the potential side effects of the drugs given. Supervise and assist in the preparation and care of the patient and her partner before, during, and after the above procedures. Demonstrate initiative and provide support in assisting with procedures. Key Requirements Diploma/Degree in Nursing or relevant discipline. Prior experience working in Anaesthetic Unit (AU) is a must. Prior experience working in IVF clinic, Operating Theatre, or Post Operative Care Unit will be an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
