For more information on Singapore University of Social Sciences, please visit About The Role As part of the Communications team, this role will work with the Assistant Manager (Digital Marketing & Experience) on digital marketing and communications for the university. S/he will support our digital marketing and communications efforts across various digital platforms, including content development, as well as monitoring trends and insights that will elevate our digital growth strategy and support the SUSS brand impact, student experience and marketing campaign effectiveness. You should be an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, ideally with previous experience in a similar role and/or in crafting engaging content and stories online to excite the community. Prior creative production experience, including agency collaboration, developing concise campaign briefs and a keen creative judgement and passion for the latest digital marketing and community growth trends are highly desired. What You Will be Doing Key Responsibilities: Website and Campaign Manage key digital touchpoints such as the SUSS website, employee portal, and social media channels to support the university's marketing and communications efforts and brand-building initiatives to ensure positive user experiences. Ensure smooth operations of the SUSS website by working closely with internal resources (e.g. IT), external vendors, and content owners. Support internal teams to create landing pages and optimise the overall user experience. Support the team in all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and brand campaigns. Measure and report the performance of all digital assets and campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Social Media & Community Management Actively engage with followers across social media platforms, ensuring timely responses and fostering meaningful interactions to build and retain a strong online community. Develop engaging social media stories aligned with our content strategy for SUSS channels and diverse audience segments. Proactively source unique content from SUSS schools and departments, and coordinate publication of internal team submissions for social media and website. Work with agencies and temp staff to co-create campaigns and digital content, as well as edit and proofread posts to ensure alignment with our brand and social media guidelines. Analyse and optimise audience engagement metrics, as well as scan the competitive landscape and external trends for new ideas and tools for adoption. Special Project & Other Support Support the department’s efforts to optimise processes, enhance efficiency and improve content generation by developing, testing and implementing automated workflows. Perform team-related duties and responsibilities as well as support university-wide events, as required. Job Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Digital Media, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related disciplines. 2-4 years of experience in a digital communications and marketing role in large enterprises or agency environments, with at least 1 year in hands-on digital marketing roles. Good knowledge of social media channels, social media, UI/UX trends and best practices. Able to multi-task and work in an agile, evolving environment. Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sitefinity CMS and Google Analytics is a plus. Passionate, independent contributor and collaborative team player with a keen learning and can-do spirit. Strong interpersonal skills.
