Workplace Safety Health Officer (Construction)

Responsibilities Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans Perform health and safety audits on sites Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel Maintain company's health and safety statistics and records Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permits and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites Update Management on new and current health and safety matters Investigate all accidents which occurred and recommend appropriate health and safety measures to prevent their occurrence Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters Ensure that the OHS Management programmes are effectively implemented and maintained Promote awareness among staff, workers, contractors, suppliers, etc. Conduct and plan safety training awareness programmes Monitor strict compliance of "Permit to Work" system at worksite & explain the importance to workers at the time of safety talk/toolbox meetings Coordinate Environmental Control Committee Meeting and implement all environmental control programmes Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as required by the regulatory authorities Ensure compliance of operations with NEA and EHS regulations Prepare Site Environmental Control Report on a regular basis Conduct environmental control audit and investigations Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop environmental control plan, site clean-up plans & monitor their completion Requirements Possess a valid WSHO & ECO registration with MOM & NEA respectively Minimum 5 years experience in Singapore building construction projects Preferably with relevant experience working as WSHO in HDB's New Built project #J-18808-Ljbffr
