We are currently seeking an experienced senior executive to initiate operations of a legal department. The ideal candidate will have experience setting overall strategies, policies, procedures, managing a budget, leading a team, and managing the daily operation of the department. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work as well as onboarding and hiring new team members. Responsibilities:
- Setting the strategy and organisation's long-term vision
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
- Overseeing the budget
- Manage operations and finances of the business
- Manage the business development of the business
- Recruit and train new hires on business practices
- Drive development and growth of the organisation
- Ensure quality of internal processes and external representation
- Establish the strategies, policies, procedures and ensure systematic approaches are in place.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's in Business Management or relevant qualification
- Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience
- Preferably experienced in managing legal or consultancy teams
- Strong administrative & leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort working with budgets, business development, revenue, and forecasting
- Strong communication skills
