Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Engineer (Specifications) to join our team! In this role you will be working in Planning and Technical Specifications (PTS) team, provide technical support and guidance to peers in Engineering Department with the establishment, maintenance and updating of technical standards, design criteria, and specifications related to the Yanbu Program. Promotes and maintains technical adequacy, uniformity, and quality of project designs in conformance with approved standards and codes.

The Senior Engineer will report to the Manager of Planning and Technical Specifications and PTS Supervisor. Interacts with, and support efforts of other disciplines in the Engineering Department and interact with other RC Departments as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform role as champion and focal point within the Engineering Department for the management of all technical specifications, design codes and engineering standards.

Has well developed knowledge and background of design practices, use of common international design standards and construction practices.

Prepares technical guide specifications and updates the standard details, design criteria and technical guidelines.

Responsibility for developing strategies for continuous improvement and good engineering practices.

Provides technical advice and guidance to Management on engineering aspects related to infrastructure developments and needed improvements for a rapidly growing industrial city.

Prepares and reviews technical correspondence, reports, and studies.

Maintains knowledge of new developments in the section through technical literature and by contacts within RC.

Prepares presentations to Senior Management on technical issues related to standards and codes of practice.

Liaison with other RC Cities management and technical teams on unified engineering standards for Yanbu, Jazan, Jubail and Ras Al-Khair.

Arranges technical interdisciplinary consultations to review and improve RC processes.

Provides technical guidance to other RC and SAPL Departments personnel.

Represents the Section at the project and inter-sectional meetings, as appropriate.

Performs other wider duties and responsibilities to assist with workload as required by the PTS Supervisor.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience.

Registered with Saudi Engineering Council.

Experience working with municipalities on infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, and construction standards.

Excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Adaptability to new methodologies and technologies.

Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Computer literacy in MS Office applications

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None
