Work Experience: 5.0 Year(s) To 10.0 Year(s)CTC Salary: Not Disclosed by RecruiterFunction: Production / Quality / MaintenanceResponsibilitiesWork effectively with PMT, Construction Contractors and others to establish and maintain required working interfaces with engineering and construction during Project execution.Develop excellent working relations and liaise fully with Construction Contractor's QC team at site.Responsible for the monitoring, inspection, and guidance of QC activities performed by Construction Contractors to achieve a safe, quality, on time and within budget realization of the project.Responsible for attending application for inspection (AFI's).Responsible for initiating and following up on Project NCR's and Quality Observations in a timely manner.Maintain a one team approach amongst PMT/Construction Contractor organizations.Investigate problem areas on quality and develop timely solutions.Participate in the review and approval of quality plans, procedures, and ITP's.Participate in project audits during construction execution and commissioning phases.Participate in Lessons Learned/Best Practices presentations and share with PMT/Construction Contractors.Issue Quality Bulletins, Quality Observations and participate in Quality Surveillance programs.Attend internal weekly meetings within QA/QC department.Participate in recognition/award and team building events for PMT/Contractors.Provide investigation and inspection resources for quality related alerts and reports.Provide Supervisor with details on areas of concern related to QC to highlight issues affecting project specifications, safety, quality, cost, and/or schedule.Keep QA/QC Lead fully informed on matters related to area of responsibility.Responsible for implementation of QC plan.Supervise discipline Inspectors to assist and improve Quality control functions.Monitor the day-to-day activities of discipline inspectors.Ensure the control of non-conformities by implementing a proactive approach.Ensure daily Surveillance visits conducted by discipline inspector and report to supervisor; coordinate for TPI.Maintain quality records and ensure those records are collated and compiled in accordance with requirements.Review extent of E & I plans, procedures, methods statements of Vendors/Subcontractors for adequacy in relation to customer's quality requirements.Prepare and submit two weeks look ahead schedule.Control of RFI, review and Issue the RFI's, updates of RFI log, monitoring Inspection progress, liaise with Client inspectors for quality concerns.Work closely with QC Manager to accomplish tasks assigned by QC Manager.Working ConditionWill work 100% in the field.Minimum Competence RequirementBSc in engineering discipline or construction; or equivalent technical work experience in the electrical trade.Minimum 5 years' experience in related fields, with 2 years' experience in Gulf country.Preferably work experience in Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries.Excellent communication skills, both written & oral, and presentation skills.Excellent technical knowledge.Must have Saudi Aramco approval for Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector with CBT test passed.High School graduate or equivalent; must be able to read, write, and speak English.Fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications such as NEC, NFPA 70, IEC & IEEE, ISA RP12.6, ISA RP12.2.02, ISA TR12., ANSI MC96.1, IEEE 518, IEEE 1100, IEC 60529, NEMA ICS 6, NEMA 250, NEMA VE 1, NEMA VE 2, and UL 94.Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience on Aramco Projects.Knowledge of electrical installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification.Able to inspect complete loop checking, wiring continuity and color coding, start-up, and troubleshooting.Able to evaluate Factory Acceptance Test and demonstrate thorough working knowledge of international codes and standards related to packaged units instrumentation such as Distributed Control System (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems & Remote Terminal Unit.
