Position: Senior Legal Counsel - Dispute Resolution Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Remote (with occasional ad hoc travel to the office) Salary: base salary up to £100,000 per annum, plus car allowance, bonus, and benefits Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in Dispute Resolution to join their team. This is a flexible, remote role with ad hoc travel to the offices required. Applicants will be UK-qualified Solicitor with a minimum of six years PQE in managing complex commercial disputes and litigation. Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Disputes & Litigation: Manage a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract and general commercial disputes.
- Data Protection Disputes: Advise on data protection-related disputes, providing guidance for compliance and resolution.
- Debt Recovery & Claims Management: Oversee debt recovery initiatives and claims, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
- External Counsel Management: Collaborate with panel firms and outside counsel to align with the company's legal strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the business, communicating complex legal issues clearly and effectively.
- UK Qualified Solicitor with 6 plus years PQE in Dispute Resolution, with ideally an In-House background (or In-House secondment), candidates from Private Practice will also be considered.
- Proven expertise in general commercial disputes ideally having handled contract disputes, data protection issues, debt recovery, and claims management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, a commercial mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a personable approach.
- Commercial Contracts: Any experience in general commercial contracts in the technology sector would be highly beneficial.
