Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment) Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time Salary: $96,307 – $105,254, generous work & leave benefits Type: Permanent Full-time To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments). About the role: The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Consultant provides specialist advice and consultancy services to management and employees on Workplace Health & Safety issues. This role coordinates Workers Compensation and Injury Management for the College. Responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy and leadership support to managers and staff in relation to Workplace Health & Safety, Workers Compensation, Injury and Risk Management.
- Demonstrate well-developed planning, research, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
- Communicate effectively through oral and written skills including negotiation, report writing, and presentation skills.

- 11.5% employer super contribution
- Deferred salary scheme – receive 80% salary for four years with the fifth year as a paid sabbatical leave from the workplace
- Thirteen weeks paid long service leave after 7 years
- Fifteen days personal leave
- Four weeks annual leave and an option to accrue ten additional days extra leave each year
- Paid parental leave – 14 weeks
