Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment) Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time Salary: $96,307 – $105,254, generous work & leave benefits Type: Permanent Full-time To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments). About the role: The Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Consultant provides specialist advice and consultancy services to management and employees on Workplace Health & Safety issues. This role coordinates Workers Compensation and Injury Management for the College. Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy and leadership support to managers and staff in relation to Workplace Health & Safety, Workers Compensation, Injury and Risk Management.
  • Demonstrate well-developed planning, research, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicate effectively through oral and written skills including negotiation, report writing, and presentation skills.
Qualifications: To work for the College, you may be required to hold Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s). If your qualification has been obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification(s) recognised.
